Four nurses struggled to walk to hospital through a snow-covered road in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Tongliao in Inner Mongolia on November 8 shows nurses wading through deep snow and struggling to move forward.

One nurse commented: "Our dorms were blocked by the heavy snow when we got up in the morning. So we jumped out of the window and realised that the snow reached our thighs. Four of us then crawled around 100 metres in the snow to get hospital. If our patients need us, we would be the first to turn up."
